Hi all -

Bill Harris from ORC Industries is on the Goverment Advocacy Committee of

the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce. He asked me to forward the following

information to you and to encourage you to attend one of these meetings:

The Winona Area Chamber of Commerce Government Advocacy Committee will be

hosting two school referendum informational meetings for members of the

Winona Area Chamber of Commerce. Each meeting will provide an overview of

the school referendum questions, tax impacts and utilization of the funds,

as well as allow time for questions and answers. Representatives of the

Winona Public Schools and the community-based Referendum Task Force will

make the presentations.

The first meeting will be held at Prime Steak ‘n Cake on Wednesday, October

12, 2005, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. and will include Soup and Sandwich with

beverage. The second meeting will be held at Beiers Family Food and

Cocktails on Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and

will include French Toast and Sausage with Juice and Coffee.

Cost per person, per session is $10.00. Reservations are required. Contact
