[Winona Online Democracy]

terri hyle:

If I have the chance this weekend, I will try to post
spreadsheets, [...] I wasn't able to navigate the state's
site very well. When Pawlenty took office, the site was
re-organized and much of the information I used to be able
to access very well seems to be hidden now. But then,
I haven't had much time to really sort through it,
so maybe it's just me.

Thanks for the effort, Terri. I have the WAPS auditor's report for 2005. I can post it to a website, or surf for the original URL if you all like.

Speaking of finding information, the WAPS section of the state's K12 site had some interesting old reports online, but not linked. That means they can be read if you know how to find them. Unfortunately, they are of little use as regards finances. (Compliance report of 2002, 2001 a Communications Audit, School Space Report, letter from Steve whats-his-name (board), etc..) The point is that sometimes you can find material that is not linked, depending upon how secure the district cares make the information. (I know that T&T Schmidt might be nodding or smiling if they are reading this.)
