Hi Gianluca, Thanks for the information. I will check that out. But this really do not help to resolve my issue. I am not able to list Atheros based wireless card. Is this a bug with winpcap? Do we have any resolution? As I said, the Atheros Card is just listed with a "bogus" name, "Microsoft". And it should appear in the same way using the WinPcap DLLs installed by the WinPcap installer. I get the list of adapters that are inbuilt in the system. Below is how it shows me on the command prompt (I am running my application in elevated mode). c:\adapters>list.exe No.: 0 ==> MS Tunnel Interface Driver No.: 1 ==> Microsoft No. :2 ==> Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Driver. I suppose listing of wireless cards is not happening. Am I using the right release? I have compiled the npf.sys and placed it under /system32/drivers folder and packet.dll under windows/system folder. The same application works fine in XP. Kindly advice.
