I wouldn't use WinPCap for a replacement for the standard TCP/IP stack. WinPcap has been optimized for high speed packet capture, at the expense of (for example) a higher latency when receiving packets. Not to mention the nightmare of supporting a custom written TCP/IP stack.

I am wondering if anyone uses it for any purposes other than these, such as a replacement of windows socket for low latency critical data transfer etc Thanks -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Winpcap-users mailing list [email protected] https://www.winpcap.org/mailman/listinfo/winpcap-users
