I am able to reproduce this issue consistently. I did reboot the machine after uninstalling the older version, but the old dll was still present . If I want to replace the assembly manually, from where can I get the latest assembly? The link to the installer on the website has only the installer..

If it doesn't, it's because either 4.0.2 was not installed with the installer, or because wpcap.dll is in use by another application (and in this case the installer will ask you to reboot).
