I’m trying to install the Managment Utility for my TP-Link TL-PA211 powerline
adaptors, which seems to rely on WinPcap 4.1.1.
I’m running Windows 7 64-bit Professional on a custom built desktop pc.
During installation it says “A previous Version of WinPcap has been detected on
this system and cannot be removed because in use by another application. Please
close all the WinPcap-based applications and run the installer again”
Now I've never installed WinPcap myself before, and i don’t know what i have
installed which may have done as a side effect.
I’ve done some digging and discovered that WinPcap doesn't appear in the list
of programs to uninstall in programs and features.
I also found this exchange on the board and tried following it

I found packet.dll and wpcap.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 as i ran a full search,
and i found npf.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers all of them had the same
version of 4.0.0.1040
What should i do?
