I have installed the latest ethereal and winpcap (the smaller version (300k+). I'm running under Win 98SE. Every so often I get a date and timestamp which is off by almost 2 days with a time that has nothing similar to the system clock, i.e., even the minutes do not come close to matching. I reinstall the previous version of winpcap (600K+) keeping the latest version of ethereal and it runs OK.
I run with zonealarm pro but is seems to have no affect on the problem, i.e., when I exited zonealarm the problem still occurred. If you want a copy of the trace entries with the problem I can recreate it. Couldn't find a similar problem on FAQ. Barth Brooker [EMAIL PROTECTED] 808-742-6348
