Hello,
I know that winpcap doesn't capture the 802.11 control and management packets because the default NIC driver doesn't support monitor or promiscous mode. However, if I upgrade the driver which allows me to put into monitor mode (like the ones provided by Airopeek), will winpcap be able to capture the 802.11 beacon packets? If not, can you please suggest me some means by which I can capture the raw 802.11 data under windows?
Thanks a lot,
rakesh
