are you behind a switch? i don't know anything about your adapter, but if
it's pretty standard, then there shouldn't be any problem. if you're behind
a switch then you would only see your own traffic, plus broadcast stuff.

Subject: [WinPcap-users] SiS900 Adapter - trouble w/ promiscuous capture

Problem: WinPcap installs and appears to execute fine, but I am only
seeing traffic to / from my own machine, not any of the other
         traffic on the hub.

I am using an SiS900 ethernet adapter built into my workstation's
motherboard.

I am running Windows XP Pro, SP1.

I have tried the most recent SiS driver from Windows Update (1.16.0.0),
and the driver from SiS (1.14), and both WinPcap 2.3 and 3.0a2.

I can see the 'NPF' driver running in the System Drivers info pane.

I have tried both Ethereal and Windump.

Any suggestions?

                                     -jon
