Hi,
I am attempting to run WinDump and am getting the following error when
running the "windump" executable:
windump: listening on
windump: Error opening adapter: Cannot create a file when that file
already exists
The command "windump -D" replies with only "1." My ulitmate goal is to
run "ethereal" on my Windows machine but I need to get passed this
problem first. Here is my configuration:
OS - Windows 2000 Professional
WinPcap version - 2.3
WinDump version - 3.6.2
Network Adapter - I have two(2)
* 3Com 3C918 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905B-TX Compatible)
Type = Ethernet 802.3
* 3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI for Compatible PC Management NIC (3C905C-TX)
Type = Ethernet 802.3
Am I missing something on my Windows machine? Any assistance will be a
big help.
