Hi Paul

I have about 100k users using Winpcap as a low-level lib for my high level
app., every now and then I receive complaints from them about not being
able to detect their network adapters. The behaviour is similar to yours, in
that PGANames(.) returns False/empty list.
I have been asking for them to use the debug version of the Packet.dll and
get me the generated winpcap_debug.txt , tcpip.reg, services.reg ,
npf.reg , adapters.reg.
I do get some replies with these files, but I don't want to bother the
Winpcap developers; being a "mediation device" between my end-users and
Winpcap development, it's hard 4 me to reproduce it or answer questions on
the machine setup.

Hopefully, you will be able to provide + info to Gianluca so we can fix this
trouble for g00d.
I can provide some samples of the above files also.
