Well, sometimes the nitpicker lurking in me awakes... my _exact_ wording in
the User Guide is :
---------------
To change the desired pitch frequency (default 550 Hz), position the mouse
cursor in the lower window on the desired
pitch, then press the right mouse button, while keeping pressed the Ctrl key on
the keyboard.
---------------

Now, English is not my first language, so I may be all wet, but, if my
interpretation of the above sentence is correct,
that should mean :
FIRST press the Ctrl key, THEN, while keeping it pressed, right-click on the
desired frequency.
So, I never said to press them at the same time, which is theoretically
impossible... :-)
On the other side, if there is a different interpretation of that sentence,
please educate me, so I won't do the same
error again, when writing the next User Guide...

Nitpicking aside, what Jeffrey wrote is correct, you can change the CW pitch
using the sequence he said.

Next week, after the Pordenone Conference of 1st May, I will release Winrad
1.23 for Windows 98 without expiration date,
the last version that works with W98.
