My strong recommendation is to install wireless as an overlay technology to a wired infrastructure. Wireless is a tremendous convenience and I'm fairly confident that pulling copper will vanish at some point in time. I am very confident that today isn't that point in time. We chose to exclusively use wireless access in the student housing and our students would have benefitted greatly had we installed some Cat5 at the same time.
