Vonage wireless VoIP handsets will potentially cause a lot of interest in University/College students like most of the analyst have noted with Vonage's announcement. Immaterial of how viable it is, the students would definitely want to give it a shot, because most of the campuses have Wi-Fi, but certain key issue need to be addressed first of all was the campus network designed with such traffic in mind. Even if it does supports what sort of policy do we put in place to ensure the Service Level Agreement to other users(faculty/staff/$rich$ alumni)is still maintained. Should the campus just let it be and support what they can or totally isolate the users or revamp the wireless infrastructure to support QoS to cater to this growing needs not to mention the hassels of roaming.
