Regarding Aruba, so far so good, we're only up to 170 AP's right now, and still have about 60 or so Proxim AP's to come out.
The web interface to manage is a bit slow, but it does the job well. As for scalability, you just add controlers (which will handle up to 256 AP's) and point them to you master.
