Allen, Definitely get the latest and greatest code on the controllers. It seems that there was a bug in earlier editions where the CPU utilization on the controllers would peak and it would start to kick off APs. This happened to us where APs were even associating themselves with controllers that were in different mobility domains.
Also be very patient with WCS when adding the maps. And when adding the APs to the maps be sure to hit the 'place' whenever an AP is positioned on the map. Once they are all on the map be sure to hit save. Right now I am unable to come up with anything off the top of my head.
