Subject: WPA2 - automatic deployment technique?

Hi gang – need some fast help here:

Does anyone know a way to roll out WPA2 network settings to XP clients auto-magically? We want to deploy WPA2 for the fall, but we just found out the MS’s Group Policy Objects do not allow for distribution of WPA2 network info, only WPA. We wanted to write an installer, but apparently XP does a bunch of hashing of the network stuff in the registry for WPA2, and the coders weren’t able to find an easy way to deploy it.

I gotta think someone else might have run into this problem. (Yes, I know that a manual config is a short process for an end user, but with 6,000 machines to do, it would be nice to automate it.) The wifi network is all Aruba, if that matters.

I’m leaving tomorrow (Saturday) for a week’s vacation (can you believe it? A vacation in August?) but I will be checking email. You will get an Out-Of-Office note, but I’ll read any responses.

THANK YOU!!!

Michael
