We at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco are using Cisco Aironett 1231 APs and a Bluesocket solution. Some of our users experience wireless connection drops. These students say that they don't have any problems connecting anywhere else Here are the settings that we use on the radios World Mode is Disabled Preamble: Long Receive Antenna: Diversity External Antenna Configuration: Disabled Traffic Stream Metrics: Disabled Aironett Extensions: Enable Ethernet Encapsulation Transform: RFC1042 Reliable Multicast to WGB: disabled Beacon Period: 100 Max Data Retries: 32 Fragmentation Threshold: 2346 Data Beacon Rate (DTIM): 2 RTS Max.
