Some thoughts:

1. Make sure you have the correct staion role set on each bridge ("root bridge" connects to LAN, "repeater" or "work group bridge" is at the remote end)

2. Make sure that you are not running multiple vlans on the repeater. repeaters cannot have multiple vlans set.

3. Make sure infra-ssid is in same case on each 1300 (Cisco says SSIDs are case sensitive)

4. Enures that CCX extensions are turned on on each

Not sure if any of this will help but it is a start.

We are trying to get a Point-to-Point setup going with Aironet 1300
thick AP's.

The root bridge AP shows the following log entry for the non-root
bridge AP: Station xxxx.xxxx.xxxx Authentication failed

What could be the reason for this. The radio MAC Addresses of both
the root and non-root are in each others Local MAC Address list.

They are set to use the same channel and the Infrastructure SSID is
set with the same variable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you, Ranjit
