Scripting Installs

We've created a new SSID with 802.1x/EAP-PEAP and WPA for our students, however 
to do the installation by hand is 15 steps and almost impossible to follow 
correctly. What tools do you suggest for automating the installation of a new 
SSID on windows (hard) or macs(easer?) It should setup the correct type of 
encryption, add appropriate certs, disable machine authentication etc...
