For those interested in wireless usage at other campuses-- we just
completed our spring 2007 study:

Summary: Connect hours increased to 4.8 million (71% increase from
'06), and its now serving 67% of the campus population. The trend is
toward more frequent sessions and longer sessions. Please excuse the
focus on 802.1x trends -- we're transitioning (to be enforced 8/1/07,
wish us luck).
I'd be interested in knowing other institution's wireless
usage. Especially if anyone has reports on how/why people are using wireless.
