We have found the inter-controller roaming users experience much worse
performance than the local users especially when they roam to a high
density area. From the speed test results on the internet, the local
associated user get 1.5Mbps downloading and a inter-controller roaming
user gets 700kbps downloading. Cisco says it is expected to see some
performance impact, as the user data is encapsulated on tunnel between
controllers, but they do not have any statistical information for such a
performance hit.

Anyone experience this issue as well? Anything we can tune to make this
roaming performance better?

Thanks!
