I live .75 mi from my office. I've "warwalked" the trip a couple of
times, and the last time I observed 47 WLANs along the way. Most of them
were unsecured, with default SSIDs. I've not really made a study of the
default passwords...
I'm betting it could work well enough to be interesting.
