Thanks,
The only one we could find that supported our flavor of 802.1x was the Hitachi
IP5000. We also found the UTStarCom F1000 G, but couldn't confirm if it did
WPA/TKIP/PEAP/MSCHAPv2.

Yes, I believe that handling 802.1x with WPA was one of the reasons we liked
the D-Link, but I'll verify that with the guys who did the testing and get back
to you.

Do any of these do 802.1x?

We purchased and tested a few different Wireless SIP phones, although none are
"ruggedized".

Out of the models we purchased we found we preferred the D-Link.

This is what we tested.

WIP330 Linksys WIP330 WIFI IP Phone
DPH-540 D-Link DPH-540 802.11b/g WIFI SIP Phone (BLACK)
F1000 G UTStarcom F1000 G WIFI VOIP Phone WLAN 802.11B/G
P-2000W Zyxel P-2000W v2 VoIP Wi-Fi Phone - Version 2

We are looking for a WiFi SIP phone to deploy to students in the field for
communication with each other and supervisors.  Something that is ruggedized
would be preferred, but we are considering the Linksys WIP330 as an option.  We
have an Asterisk server that the phone can use, but we would also like the
ability for the phone to call each other by IP address, independent of a server.

Any suggestions on models and places to purchase them?

Thanks,

Nathan
