Hector,

This sound like the issue we ran into. Check the DNS Client services and
make sure they are started.

Subject: [WIRELESS-LAN] Vista and Windows Updates...

We've seen issues sporadically with Windows updates on Vista machines. After
the updates are applied, user opens browser and the browser does not go
anywhere. This happens both on the wireless and wired interface. It doesn't
matter whether we use IE or Mozilla or Safari, they all behave similarly.
The only thing we can do to solve the issue is to restore the computer back
to a date before the updates were applied, and this is not always
successful. We haven't been able to narrow it down to a specific update
either, as the issue has been happening throughout the year. Has anybody run
across this?

Thanks,
