Not talking femtocells- strictly repeater. We are contemplating taking a chance on a Juni repeater, installed by Verizon-partner installer, to help with an area of poor coverage in a large building. I know there are other do-it-yourself solutions, but the appeal here is that survey, placement, and support becomes somebody else's problem (theoretically). After speaking with Juni, the prices quoted online include around 130 feet of antenna cable between outside antenna and repeater unit. Other antenna cable lengths are custom-built on site, and add to the cost of the installation.
That's what I know... the unknown is whether people are satisfied with this relatively new solution. Are there any Verizon customers using the Juni repeaters? We'd be looking at the JR-20 or JR-20 Plus in this case. Wondering about... satisfaction with repeated signal versus range claims (up to 25,000/50,000 square feet- likely free space claims that will be considerable less in reality?), support, installation, etc. Good or bad- either input is helpful.
