Hi John, Thanks for responding. What were you using prior to Meraki for WLAN management and reporting as well as type of APs? Since you already have a deployment ready, did you encounter any issues while setting it up? We are currently using Cisco's WCS (just upgraded to version 6.0) to manage our WLAN with 1100s running b/g/a. Are you familiar with WCS's management and reporting? I'm curious to know what we may be able to gain with this service. Are you seeing much of a cost savings on your bottom line? Also, when you reference increased performance, is that a result of a move to 11n radios or are you referring to Meraki's b/g APs? I'll be speaking with one of their engineers in a couple weeks about their product, but it would be nice to hear how your deployment works out for the academic year when you have a chance.

Our initial experience shows a substantial increase in performance over our existing b/g system, but a full report on performance will have to wait until after our students arrive in September. We're very happy with the management and reporting interface, and the company is very responsive to our input . Feel free to contact me directly with questions about it. I'm especially interested if you've actually seen the performance of this service. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/.
