Try turning off P2P blocking on your WiSMs รจ select WLANs, pick an SSID, EDIT, ADVANCED, P2P Blocking.

I believe that this prevents users on an SSID from talking to other users on that same SSID within the mobility group.

*Subject:* [WIRELESS-LAN] iPad Syncing over Wireless

Hello All,

We like many of you are seeing iPads on our wireless network. One user currently and I suspect more to come is having trouble syncing with their laptop over the wireless network. We are a Cisco LWAPP shop and I believe the default behavior is to not allow hosts in the same subnet/SSID talk to each other. This sound like good practice but would explain the behavior that the user is experiencing.

Has anyone else seen this? If so how did you deal with it?

I suppose it depends what your network connection and/or information security policy says about "clients", and whether they're allowed to provide services to each other. Allowing wireless clients to infest each other with viruses and clog your APs up with music transfers isn't a great idea if you're trying to provide a service IMHO.
