When Android phones or tablets connect to a wpa2-802.1x (PEAP/MSCHAPv2) secured
SSID, you have to manually configure security settings, like in the "old"
Windows XP days. It seems Androids are configured for pre-share key by
default. I thought they would be able to recognize the auth/security type like
an iPhone would. I have seen it with both 2.x and 3.x Android versions. Have
you guys experienced the same? If so, are you providing a guide for end users
to follow? We have XpressConnect that can be used for these devices, however,
it can't be installed from an intranet portal like other OSs, so a user would
need to go out to the Android Market and get the XpressConnect App. This is a
problem since we would have to allow an un-authenticated user access to this
market out on the Internet.
I would love to hear how others are approaching this problem.

Thanks!

Marcelo
