I expressed the same concern to our Microsoft account rep and he said
he'd "pass this on to a group of technical specialists focused on
Windows 8 and see what I can learn for you.". Interestingly, the
Consumer Preview of Windows 8 did show human-readable cert details,
though the Release Preview and later RTM do not.
