Just to expand on Bruce's comment. That posting references Android Cupcake, version 1.5, with a note that it was fixed in Android Donut, version 1.6
Android has been extremely stable on WPA2-Enterprise since 2.3 (and later versions of 2.2). What's your Wireless infrastructure, and how do you have your SSID configured. It might be a configuration issue.
