HI Bruce, Right now, we only have a small number of devices deployed in Administrative buildings and have not had an issue. The devices do not see a lot of action and are used mostly for screen mirroring during a meeting.
We have not opened the service to student residence or attempted to use an AppleTV in a large auditorium. This is where I would expect to see a problem. I will try to keep the list updated on our experiences if we attempt those. RE: Aps. We are not currently replacing the older Aps but have begun purchasing the new models for new installations.
