Neither is perfect. We have both Cisco and Aruba within our consortium, and both have their positives and negatives. The drive to add new features (and one up their competition) just results in customers having to deal with unstable code. This is especially true when you venture into unknown software versions just to support new hardware. Having seen both in operation at my consortium for the past five years, and being a Cisco campus, the grass does not look greener on the other side. It's just a different type of grass. Jeff

I do believe that Cisco is finally waking up to many of their past embarrassments, as well. It will be interesting to see where things go for both companies in the days ahead. Move from the wireless "dark side" and join us as an Aruba Networks customer. I have experienced Cisco wireless support and Aruba's wireless support. There is no comparison. Aruba products are not perfect, they are quite focused on the education sector. In my personal experience, Aruba's dedicated controller firewall and central management are superior to Cisco's offerings. Aruba is constantly working to add new features to their offering and their support is very responsive.
