Well done video Anthony! In addition to what you've mentioned in the video, lately on our WLAN in the res halls we're also seeing wireless printers, GoPro cameras, iPhone hotspots, cable wireless routers, etc. Right now we're also investigating whether the wireless smoke detectors are also causing interference. According to the manual they operate in 315Mhz but we're verifying this info because the security staff claims that more and more of the smoke detectors are losing wireless signal. We've been struggling since the beginning of the semester with complaints from students in the res halls who report that wifi is slow and/or the signal drops from time to time, even though it doesn't seem that we have bandwidth issues. Interestingly enough we're not getting complaints from users at our main downtown campus where some access points report up to 20 rogue wireless routers from other tenants in the building.
