I agree. Very well done.
Remember, you do not have to have AC to run 5 GHz. N does it just fine as long
as the client device has the 802.11N radio with the 5 GHz feature -- usually
optional at a higher price. Since we have very few AC APs (18%), most of our 5
GHz use comes from the N clients with a very few running A. For 5 GHz usage, we
are hovering in the 30% range for Campus & 42% for ResNet right now with about
75% of our 5,000 APs being 802.11N capable (some older dorms are not yet
upgraded beyond G).
Maybe you need to slightly update your presentation to cover wireless printers
& change the closing about AC (though, admittedly, that is what new machines
will come with).
Do you send this out to prospective students so they know something about what
to buy before they get to campus?

I have to say, this was a rather well written video that covered it all for the
non-technical people (I call it dumbed down) and has flashy pictures too! It’s
hard managing the wireless network when the upper administration just don’t get
why it works in one building but not another.
Great work!

Hello Everyone,
Here at SCSU one of our biggest WiFi challenges is dealing with interference.
We created this informational video that I think may be useful for everyone.
Please feel free to share this video as you see fit.
