Hello,

Currently we use unicast forwarding mode for our Cisco WLCs. I am considering
changing to multicast mode following Cisco's best practice:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/wlc/8-0/82463-wlc-config-best-practice.html#pgfId-379768

We don't see any performance issues at this time but just want to plan ahead to
meet the future wireless growth.

Has anyone used multicast mode for controller/AP communication and have you
seen any issues?

We don't control the use of multicast application on campus. Anyone can pick up
any multicast group address and start to use it. So another concern is what if
somebody start to use the same multicast group with the WLC-AP group and how
will that affect the wireless infrastructure?

Thanks!
