Maybe I'm not understanding things, but I thought that WiDi didn't use your Wi-Fi access points. <https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-papers/pro-wireless-display-white-paper.pdf> talks about how WiDi was designed to avoid overlap with enterprise wireless network channel usage by avoiding the DFS channels at least, but it still doesn't prevent random users from setting these things up and inadvertently setting them to a non-DFS channel that is already in use. -- Julian Y.
