Hi Edcause, I’m a new member of this forum, so greetings!
For those of you with full logging features enabled on your infrastructure, I was wondering if anyone else is seeing a large number “Class 3 Frame Received” errors from your access points. Our hardware vendor, Xirrus, has escalated the question to their engineers, but they are unable to identify the cause nor normalcy of this error. For reference, a class 3 frame is a frame that is sent with full association and authentication to an access point. In this case, the access point disagrees with the station, which believes it is associated and authenticated. We see around 600 “Class 3 Frame Received” errors per hour across our campus. Any insights from this community would be helpful.
