I have told Res Life that we have the ability to turn the lights off if students would prefer that. I don't think they are any brighter than the light on the smoke detectors that are 3' away, but I've offered the option. So far, no takers. We did have someone request that the AP be removed from the room, so as not to bombard them with harmful radio waves.
