For the folks who don't know me, I am one of the co-leaders of the Network
Management CG. Since we have so much overlap between the groups, I try to
cross-post when applicable.

We would like to remind everyone that, while we are now past the Early Bird
Registration, registration is still open for the Annual Conference. Hotels may
a be little tougher to book now, but I can guarantee the Conference is well
worth attending.

Last year in Indy, several of us met at a local bar the first night (ok, and
subsequent nights) of the Conference. I know many of us have other
commitments, but post-commitment informal networking is always a good time. If
anyone has suggestions for local dive watering holes (preferably very local to
the hotels), please chime in or Google Maps and I will be dropping a random pin
again.

Still informal, but closer to the conference, EDUCAUSE will once again have a
Community Lounge (sponsored by Workday) in Meeting Room 205A/B on level two of
the conference center. Last year, we held a couple gatherings in the
Community Lounge with several parallel conversations. I'm not a huge Twitter
person, but follow me (@BrianHelman) and I'll announce/retweet any gatherings
that I'm made aware of (so let me know if you schedule a meetup). If you don't
follow Lee on Twitter, he is far more prolific (@wirednot).

Lastly, the CG Sessions. In my email to the NETMAN list, I neglected to remind
everyone of the Wireless-LAN session. I will make sure I correct that next
week. This year, the Wireless-LAN session is at a tough time -- Friday at 8a.
At the moment, they have not listed who will be leading the discussion, but a
couple of us have volunteered so there will be a session! That session will
be in Meeting Room 210C, Level 2. I'd also encourage anyone from this list
who will be at the conference to also attend the Network Management session on
Thursday from 4:30-whenever in Meeting Room 202 A/B, also on Level 2. There is
always a good deal of cross-over wireless/wired discussion. Mike Ferguson
(Chapman University) and I will be facilitating that session.

I cross-posted a version of this message to the NETMAN CG. If you're in both,
my apologies for the redundancy.

-Brian
