Hi Roger

We are having some issues with Win10 users and after quite some debugging we
found out that it was the "Windows Firewall" blocking 802.1X requests on some locations where the IP addresses changed from the original location where eduroam was configured
initially.

Windows Firewall configures the initial network as Private (trusted) and when the user goes to another location it is configured or seen as "Public" (not trusted).
Therefore, the user complains it doesn't work everytime.

We modified the Windows Firewall to "learn configs" in the Public mode.

So, maybe this can help you, because you have a problem at the AUTH level.

Try disabling Win10 firewall....just to test.

regards,

Tony,

We cannot authenticate, getting the following error:  Login incorrect (eap: No mutually acceptable types found): [uthsc.edu\[email protected]/<via Auth-Type = eap>] or a varation of this when we try other auth methods.  I am pretty sure it has to do with the Supported EAP types for the profile.

Thanks

Roger

Has anyone used the eduroam CAT tool to create the onboarding for
Windows 10 users? We are stuck getting a Windows 10 configuration
to work with the CAT Tool.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
