We have a very small deployment of 9120’s right now on a 8540 running 8.10.
We’ve not really began to troubleshoot but have been forced to disable fast
transition. Older iOS clients and Apple TV’s were failing to connect. I can’t
recall the exact error. Traveling at the moment but can look it up later. We
also hit a bug working with BU on 9120’s where we had to move PMF to optional
instead of required. Performance throughput took a drastic hit with it being
required. We only saw the performance issues on 9120’s. The 9115 and 9117 were
unaffected.

Thanks,
Kelly Slone

Subject: [WIRELESS-LAN] Early adopters on Cisco .11ax - on 8540s?

Would like to hear from anyone who may be running 8.10 code with 9100 APs, and
any testimonials on your early findings? Not so much with performance but more
so with stability or any problems/concerns noted when used on 8540 WLCs.

Thanks,
