--- Comment #6 from Jean-Claude MICHOT <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Phil Krylov from comment #4) That seems "normal" to be stuck at 22 Mbit/s with the rtw8852b on FreeBSD 14.3. root@minipc:~ # ifconfig wlan0 mode 11ac ifconfig: SIOCSIFMEDIA (media): Device not configured I haven't found any way to switch to 802.11ac mode. root@minipc:~ # ifconfig wlan0 list caps drivercaps=581c001<STA,SHSLOT,SHPREAMBLE,MONITOR,WPA1,WPA2,WME> cryptocaps=b<WEP,TKIP,AES_CCM> No HTCAP (High Throughput) or VHTCAP (Very High Throughput) capabilities are listed. Only basic 802.11a/b/g modes are supported - no MIMO (40 MHz), no VHT (80 MHz). I'm stuck with a stable but limited Wi-Fi throughput of around 22 Mbit/s. The hardware is capable of much more, but the current driver doesn't seem to support it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
