Using a RTL8812AU:
- ifconfig wlan0 scan
I cannot my home 5GHz network
- ifconfig wlan0 down
- ifconfig wlan0 chanlist 36-165
- ifconfig wlan0 up
- service wpa_supplicant restart
- ifconfig wlan0 scan
Now I can see the 5GHz network (and it's automatically associated by
wpa_supplicant).
