Mac driver developer iOXperts has a free beta-test version of a "WiFi" (802.11b) driver designed to support wireless PC Cards that were not originally Mac-compatible: "The driver supports most popular wireless PC Cards that have until this point been only Windows-based. The universal WiFi driver allows Powerbooks as old as the 190 and 5300 connect to a wireless 802.11b network (the same protocol as Apple's Airport). Supported cards include Belkin, D-Link and many other popular brands sold as 'Windows Only' cards." [The company also offers FireWire and USB webcam and still camera drivers for Mac OS X.] http://www.ioxperts.com/wifi.html R -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
