I had two of them and both of them were fine. Only range was not the best but I could catch the signal within 30-50 feet around the house. Another cheapo which I like is d-link DI-713P. They are right now on sale at Dell Home for $97 after rebate. Though it is quite common for DI-713P to be defective on arrival. I had to replace my first one which did not work. The 2nd one works very nicely for over 2 months. Not a single problem. WWW setup for d-link is IMHO nicer than for Linksys (especially MAC->IP table for DHCP) but d-link support does not exist.
