I have installed several LinkSys WAP11's for various friends/businesses in my area and have had no problems at all. The WAP11 does an excellent job of keeping the DSL "always on" and I have never run into any of the "lockup" problems people claim to be having.
Another unit I installed for a local business is a D-Link 713-P. It worked very well and comes with an integrated parallel port print server which makes setting up an office printer much easier and less troublesome. Anyone can print at the office without having a dedicated computer. --Jason -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of coldfire Sent: Wednesday, May 08, 2002 11:08 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [BAWUG] access point suggestion i've been shopping for a good ap to buy over the past few days ... in particular, a good wireless ap/dsl router. i've been reading a lot of reviews but they all have contradictory reports .. such as one of the linksys models having problems with lock ups ... any suggestions from (hopefully) credible wireless users? :) coldie -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
