This could be the problem, but it isn't, unfortunately:

I've been trying to install it o na new HP Omnibook 6000, and on an HP
omnibook 4150, experiencing the same problems ..

Can anyone point my to a small one or two-floppies distribution that
supports wireless networking in order to test the cards?
