Everybody was impressed and wanted to rush out and buy cards to join the fun. All the laptops here (Toshiba Satellite, Sony Vaio, Compaq & 2 dells) all with either XP home or professional cannot effectively use the WPC11 card. I stuck in my Orinoco Gold and presto! Everybody went out and bought either silver or gold cards. All worked by simply plugging them in. The WPC11 cards were the 2.5 version. Took them back to Link'O and went to Digital Palace and got the Orinoco's (big stack at the back of the store!). Everybody is quite happy now.
