Derek,

Which LMR?   LMR-400,  LMR-600?

LMR-400  =    6.8dB  for  every 100 ft.

The cushcraft cable you cited is  RG-58 in size  (smaller) .   I would assume it does not match the characteristics of

LMR-400  which  is  0.400"   dia   cable.    A much better cable.    I f you need smaller cable try LMR-240.

Try ordering LMR from  Talley Communications in L.A.    They are  large comm distributer.   Or Hutton Comm.,  another large dist.

Subject: [BAWUG] Times LMR vs. Cushcraft Ultralink coax

Hi, my local electronics distributor only carries Cushcraft Ultralink TL92887 for low-loss coax, and I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with the product. Specifically, can it be used with 802.11b equipment and how does it compare to Times' LMR coax products?

Thanks,
Derek
